JSOL is supporting the sport climbing athlete Sorato Anraku

Since June 2024, JSOL has supported the sport climbing athlete Sorato Anraku as his sponsor.

Sorato Anraku

Anraku started climbing during his second year at elementary school, when he visited a climbing gym near home with his father. The first time he tried it, he was completely hooked, and became so obsessed with the sport that he would climb every day. Once he started participating in competitions, the desire to win grew steadily within him and he began practicing hard of his own accord.

Anraku competes in two of sport climbing’s competition events: boulder and lead. He is aiming to become an unbeatable climber. His ambition is not only to develop personally, but also to become a role model who brings excitement to the climbing community, inspiring hope and courage among countless others. Anraku is an up-and-coming athlete with outstanding prospects who is set to play an influential role in the climbing community going forward.

Comments by Sorato Anraku

I feel extremely honored to have been able to sign this sponsorship agreement with JSOL. Thank you.

There’s still a lot I don’t know about the world, but I intend to take this opportunity as a starting point to learn about all kinds of things. The sport climbing community has plenty of potential for further development, and one of my motivations for partnering with JSOL is to bring excitement to that community.

To be a good partner to JSOL, my priority is to dedicate myself fully to my sport climbing competitions and really develop as an athlete.

I hope everybody at JSOL will continue to support me.
